This 18-month educational experience is designed for young leaders aged 21-28 who are passionate about addressing conflicts at personal, interpersonal, social, and international levels.
What is the World House?
Since 1998, the World House has been a haven for young people from countries affected by violent conflicts. Participants live alongside their “enemies,” learning to face their conflicts and turn them into opportunities for change.
The program focuses on:
- Creative conflict transformation
- Conviviality and intercultural understanding
- Formal and non-formal education
- Engagement in public and institutional events
- Volunteer activities
Program Structure
The World House experience is divided into several key phases:
Online Preparation: Before arriving at Rondine, candidates participate in an online phase focused on Italian language study and an introduction to Rondine activities.
Main Program: The 18-month on-site program where participants live and learn together, developing skills in conflict transformation and leadership.
Social Impact Semester: A dedicated period for applying learned skills to real-world scenarios.
Who Should Apply?
The World House is looking for young individuals who are:
- Interested in various forms of conflict resolution
- Aspiring to be future leaders

Application Requirements
To be eligible for the World House program, you must:
- Be between 21 and 28 years old
- Hold a Bachelor’s degree (or be on track to earn one by July 2025)
- Be committed to civil society engagement.

Mark your calendars! The 2025 call for participants is available in November 2024 till 12 January 2025. This is your chance to join a community of 30 students from 25 different countries across Europe, Africa, America, and Asia.
